PEACH BREAD

Not normally a fan of bread with fruit, but I had to do something with the mass of peaches falling from my tree. This recipe came from allrecipes.com.  I had expected to give most of it away, but to my surprise, I had peach bread for dinner!  3 slices!  Warm right out of the oven, good crust, moist interior with cream cheese on top.  And I remembered to take my enzyme to process the dairy!

A complete meal!

Creating a meal at my boyfriends house can be challenging if Trader Joe's wasn't on the todo list that day.  Here's what we found in the fridge...olive bread (didn't matter if it was a little stale since we were toasting it), hot dogs (the only protein but at least it was Applegate!), Basil (growing out of a junko chime....will post pics of that later), and brie (probably the freshest ingredient of the bunch).  We buttered the bread with a little earth balance, and threw it all in the oven.  We were impressed how sophisticated a hot dog could look!  We balanced out the meal with a little arugula salad dressed with some lemon and cracked pepper, two kinds of pickles and of course wine!  Pretty hardy meal for "nothin in the fridge."  My only fix-it would be to slice the hot dogs a little thinner so as not to over power the other flavors!  Bon Appetit!
